The Brown Club of Boston is one of the largest Brown University clubs worldwide, and our mission is to foster a strong Brown alumni community in the greater Boston area. This is made possible by an all-volunteer board, made up of undergraduate and graduate alumni of all class years who are passionate about building the Brown alumni community here in Boston.

What to expect:
You are volunteering to serve on the Brown Club of Boston board for a 3 year term. Board members are expected to contribute their ideas and energy to help plan, organize, publicize, and execute programs and events. Collegiality, commitment, a passion for Brown, and a wicked sense of humor are a must!
Time Commitment:
Board members must be able to attend monthly board meetings (generally held from 7:30 to 8:30) on the last Monday of the month. Typically you can expect a time commitment of 5-10 hours a month during busy event seasons.
Skills and interests:
Skills or interests in learning more about event planning, marketing and communications, social media engagement, strategy development, organizational management, and the ability to work collaboratively on a team are needed to be a successful Club of Boston board member.
