Sat, January 20, 2018
Join us for a volunteer shift at the Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory warehouse to help sort and package donated items. The organization provides new and gently used goods such as clothing, books, school supplies, and toys to low-income children ages 0-12 years.
We are looking for 25 adults to make up our team, and there is no cost to participate! Please note that this event is open to Brown alumni only.
"Make Sense of Scent" Class
Sat, February 3, 2018
Ever wonder how your nose knows what the world smells of? Come find out!
During a mini lecture you will hear about how biological and machine noses work, why in the 21st Century we still haven’t “measured a smell,” and emerging applications of olfaction (from diagnostics to drug discovery). Afterward, uncover your true superpower (olfaction) with a short training before testing your sense of scent in a blindfolded perfume discrimination exercise. There will be activities for those who lack a sense of smell as well.

Sat, April 14, 2018
Join us at the Boston Public Market for a truffle making course led by Taza Chocolate. Attendees will learn how to make a dark chocolate ganache from scratch. Seats are limited, so make sure to sign up early!
