On December 7, Professors Kenneth R. Miller and Gordon Wood come to Wellesley. The first course of the day, "Science: God Vs. Darwin America's Continuing Problem with Evolution," will be with Professor Miller. Professor Miller explores the core arguments in favor of evolution and of intelligent design. He also offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at recent evolution cases in Georgia and Pennsylvania, in which he was called as an expert witness.

Professor Wood follows with "History: Revolutionary Characters What Made The Founders Different." Professor Wood argues that the founders' deep desire to be learned across a vast array of subjects and to be viewed as selfless explains how they were able to become such exceptional intellectual and political leaders.
